PIZZATO MKV11D13 LIMIT SWITCH

The Pizzato MK V11D13 is an industrial electromechanical microswitch with a sealed top plunger, designed to accurately detect the position, presence or end of travel of moving parts in machinery, lifting systems, automation equipment and control devices. Its direct actuation is particularly suitable when the moving component travels perpendicularly towards the switch.

The actuator incorporates a sealing system that protects the internal mechanism against the ingress of dust and dirt through the plunger area. This configuration improves reliability in industrial applications where the switch may be exposed to particles, manufacturing residues or more demanding environmental conditions than usual.

When a cam, plate or moving component presses the plunger, the internal mechanism switches between the normally closed and normally open contacts. It features a switched 1NO + 1NC configuration, with double-point contacts and positive opening of the NC contact. This construction provides a stable and repeatable signal and allows the normally closed contact to be used in certain monitoring and safety functions, provided that the installation complies with the requirements specified by the manufacturer.

The degree of protection of the terminals depends on the cover used. Without a cover, the switch has an IP00 rating, while compatible accessories can increase it to IP20 or IP40. The actuator seal protects the plunger entry point, but does not replace the protection required in the electrical connection area.
